Design and manufacturing is based on the customer’s instructions and we aim to provide the furniture the customer needs, rather than something we have in our catalogue alone if that is not really what is required. Accordingly we prefer to work from the customer’s brief and then come forward with a number of suggestions.
Quality
All furniture is manufactured to exacting ‘contract quality’ standards to meet British Fire and Safety regulations. Wherever possible, furniture is manufactured from replaceable or bio-degradable materials. All timber has been matured in forests committed to re-forestation and the production of woods of outstanding natural characteristics. We define our product specifications and impose our own standards of quality control on every product.
Service
We recognise that ‘service’ is important and know the pit-falls which can attend the best intentions. We will be determined to give your order our undivided attention. This includes checking the facilities of every manufacturer where orders are to be placed; and we always visit the manufacturer awarded a contract to witness ‘the build’ of the initial order. We also supervise the delivery and installation of furniture where this is a requirement of the contract.
Price
Pricing considerations are always a requirement and we will obtain a number of quotations, but retain the maxim of ‘value for money.’ Volume is also a major consideration and that is where Furniture Realm can help with our regular requirements to purchase furniture in bulk.

At Furniture Realm we are dedicated to using sustainable materials whenever possible. We believe that reducing the impact of manufacturing on the environment begins simply with recycling.
The furniture business contributes immensely to de-forestation and the felling of trees. And whilst using eco-friendly steel and timber suppliers certainly contributes to a long-term solution for the immediate future, we all need to find other ways of reducing our impact on the environment.
At Furniture Realm we not only make it a vital point to recycle timber and metal, we regularly re-upholster used furniture, refurbish and re-sell used table tops and re-cover past frames rather than land filling them. In fact in some cases 80% of a new piece of furniture could be produced using reclaimed materials.
